When the formation of mots hills was done, the dwarfs had a dis-function with one of the dwarven caves. It knocked an r.d.s.v. (rapid d.n.a. switch vapor) bottle down, all 56 dwarfs in it were pulled apart and back together so fast it switched 10 of the dwarfs lets just say there now goblins.The population went from 10 to 1,200. Goblins are nothing like imps, they are evil but more well behaved.
Wow that r.d.s.v stuff is strong! Just the vapors switched the dna?? It turned the dwarfs into goblins? What would it turn imps into?
